Biography

Michael A. K. Dan was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 15, 1944; he was admitted to the California Bar in 1970, and admitted to the bar of various Federal District Courts, U.S. Courts of Appeal, and Supreme Court of the United States.

Michael Dan attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and U.C.L.A. where he received a B.A. in Political Science, with Honors, in 1966, the University of California at Los Angeles (J.D., 1969; President, Senior Class), and Kings College, University of London, London, England (LL.M., International Law, 1970).
